Health Connect Ontario

I wanted to bring attention to a service called Health Connect Ontario.

This is a free, secure and confidential service available 24/7 to help you find health services or information or get medical advice from a registered nurse.

Health Connect Ontario replaced the former Telehealth Ontario, adding enhanced online tools and allowing individuals to call 811 or visit the website 24 hours a day, seven days a week to get health advice, help navigate health services and find information.

Health Connect Ontario and 811 are for non-urgent healthcare information, advice and referrals.

It will help avoid unnecessary visits to emergency departments and unneeded delays in accessing care.

Service Volumes

• Since its launch in April 2022, Health Connect Ontario has received, on average 84,360 calls per month and 6,791 chats per month.

From July to October 2022, approximately 22,675 users visited the Health Connect Ontario website each month.
